OLUSEYE DAVID ALO

  • Oluseye David Alo is an Akure, Ondo State-born Creative Artist, Media Practitioner, Politician and Community Development Advocate. A suave multi-genre and multilingual Broadcaster, Music Producer, Singer and Songwriter. He broadcasts in English and Yoruba languages. He anchored the radio programme “LUNCH TIME TITBITS” on the old and new media.
  • He is also the Programme Director of Women in Development / West Africa Artisanal Development Charity (WAfriDEV). A charity devoted to the empowerment of artisanal women in Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
  • He studied Farm Management and Extension at the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, Ondo State of Nigeria and has twenty two years working / business experience in the Nigerian  agriculture and food industry. His successful cottage farm and restaurant businesses in Akure, Ondo State created jobs for people in the local community.
  • He was trained in England as a Care Worker at BUPA UK and worked in the UK/NHS Healthcare and Ambition 24 Group as a Community/Hospital Agency Care Worker for ten years.
  • He studied Postharvest Technology at the Writtle College, Chelmsford, Essex, UK through direct self-funding.
  • He also had University degree studies in Media & International Development at the Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK and the prestigious University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK., where he gained a top grade University Bachelors and is engaged in Higher Degrees study respectively.

Political Ideology: Oluseye David Alo is a staunch ‘Awoist’ and a strong believer in a free society, equal opportunities, value of human life and the rule of law.
